OK it seems that loads of people are having this problem and various solutions are abundant which just dont work.
Here is what you need to do to sort this problem.
Download the full feature drivers for your printer or whatever HP product it is that you have. You can get this free from the HP website, click drivers and enter the product name into the search box then choose your product and operating system.
Once you have downloaded the driver .exe file from the HP website you then need to double left click the driver file and wait for the files to be extracted.
When the setup window appears click exit.
Now in the "…the feature you are trying to use.." window click browse. In the location bar of the file browse window which opens type %temp% and press enter. You will now see the temp folder contents. Look for a folder starting 7zSxxxx where xxxx is any characters. Double left click this folder.
Then double left click the setup folder. Then double left click the hpproductassistant folder.
The hpproductassistant.msi file is located there and left click this file and then click open.
After a minute or two the HP software will have configured itself and you will no longer see the error message.
