Looking for your tft monitor to be repaired? Perhaps you dropped your laptop or it was knocked off the table? Just pop in to one of our repair centres and speak to one of our trained computer engineers who can advise you on what can be done. If you dont live near to one of our shops then you are more than welcome to telephone us on 01777 862888.

All repairs are done in our static safe repair workshops located in Retford, Nottinghamshire and Gainsborough, Lincolnshire by one of our trained computer engineers. We track all repairs on our computerised system and can keep you updated on progress throughout the repair process.

If the TFT Monitor (screen) if your laptop is broken then try not to operate the Laptop. If there is any fluid leaking from the screen try not to let the liquid come into contact with your skin as it can be hazardous.

Hello - I have a Dell 2405 FPW 24" TFT, which went bang and died, about a month after the PC it was attached to had succumbed to lightning (both were attached to an APC UPS). A very good local repairer whom I usually use dismantled it, and found it required a new power supply board, but could not source the part. He gave me the reference numbers, which are:- "Board Details:- BENQ 48.L1(I?)EØ2.AØ2 94V-0 0529 E157925" "on label 55 L1(I?) E0200 D530 5ETPV0 D248644" In addition, the outside of the case has a barcode label - HU-OM6754-46633-58J-189S F, and REV A01. It also states - ':August 2005 BSD' I understand that Dell source parts from many origins (this is obviously BenQ), and that they have poor parts support. Given that it is quite heavy to send if it is a no-hoper, and that it was a great monitor otherwise, would you be able to tell me from the information I have supplied if there is any likelyhood of you being able to replace this part at a reasonable price?
